This large Victorian semi-detached townhouse in Redland had all 22 of it’s original sash windows replaced with replica Accoya double-glazed sash windows fitted into the original sash boxes which were fully stripped and renovated to our usual high standard. The original sash boxes were in a poor state of repair, so we replaced most of the wooden sills with new bespoke-shaped and treated wooden sills. This large property features rather unique and beautiful five-window bays. These large bays, whilst beautiful made the house cold in the winter. The new high-spec double-glazed sash windows make the house significantly warmer and quieter whilst retaining the original period features of this grand property.
