New Bespoke Accoya Double-Glazed Sash Windows – Hotwells Case Study

New bespoke Accoya double-glazed sashes were fitted into fully renovated sash boxes in this end of terrace Victorian property in Hotwells. All of the lower sashes on the ground floor of this property were fitted with Pilkington Optifloat opal privacy glass as the windows faced out directly onto the pavement. This semi-opaque glass is the glass of choice for providing privacy. This glass is beautiful, looking like Victorian acid-etched glass and has the added benefit of diffusing and scattering natural light brightening up rooms.

Our new double glazed wooden sash windows are amazing – we love them! The house is so much warmer and oh, so quiet. They are beautifully made to replicate our original ones and the house looks smart, chic and restored to a simple grandeur. The decoration carried out was a top quality job – in fact, all the work was completed on time and on budget by the passionate, careful and skilled team. We strongly recommend using The Bristol Sash Window Company as they provided a very professional service from start to finish and have transformed our house in a fundamental way. Simply brilliant!
